We designed this rod specifically for trolling with the new, low-stretch braided lines. Stiff rods work great with stretchy monofilament, but the no-stretch lines demand a rod with more forgiveness. This model provides the perfect balance. It has a light tip so you can watch the wiggle of your lures, while its magnum-tapered butt section affords plenty of muscle for running planer boards or lead core line.
