Carry-Lite Decoys is proud to announce the next generation of mature gobbler decoys with the introduction of the PEEP’N TOM and PRETTY PENNY decoy system. Carry-Lite is the company that brought the mature gobbler decoy technique of turkey hunting to the public with the Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl decoys, and started a trend that has taken its place as one of the most effective turkey hunting methods in use today. The PEEP’N TOM and PRETTY PENNY possess the same characteristics of the Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl decoys, but takes it a step farther with a soft, pliable construction material that enables the hunter to fold them up and transport them in a turkey vest. And the advantages don’t stop there. The PEEP’N TOM and PRETTY PENNY feature heads molded from real freeze-dried taxidermy turkey heads for exact realism, and you get two heads with each decoy; PEEP’N TOM comes with a “strutting” head and an “active” head, and PRETTY PENNY’s heads are “breeding” and “contented.” Even more revolutionary is that hunters can mount both heads on the PEEP’N TOM to provide the look of two gobblers.
PEEP’N TOM is 10 percent smaller than Pretty Boy. His realistic synthetic beard is adjustable for length, or can be removed entirely and replaced with a real beard. The included photo reproduction fan also can be removed and replaced with a dried fantail of your own, so with your own beard and tail you can create a strutting jake that will enrage a mature gobbler, especially when paired with the submissive PRETTY PENNY. PRETTY PENNY can be used on the included stake or sitting on the ground in a submissive, ready to breed pose. Both new decoys feature paint schemes designed by turkey hunting legends Harold Knight and David Hale of Knight & Hale Game Calls fame. This pair of turkey hunting experts oversaw the entire creation process of both the Pretty Boy and the PEEP’N TOM decoy systems. The PEEP’N TOM and PRETTY PENNY decoys are built as a system because the sight of a strutting gobbler combined with a hen ready to breed is a sight that enrages resident gobblers, but both decoys can be used separately.
